	Description
	Clindapene Gel is a combined drug with two active ingredients Clindamycin and Adapalene. Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibiotic usually used to treat infections with anaerobic bacteria and some protozoal diseases. It is a common topical treatment for acne. Adapalene is a third-generation topical retinoid primarily used for the treatment of acne vulgaris. The combined medications made Clindapene [Clindamycin and Adapalene] Gel more effective for the treatment of mild to severe acne than either of the two alone. Adapalene helps to increase the penetration and helps the medication to be more effective. 	How to use
	Clindapene [Clindamycin and Adapalene] Gel should be applied twice daily to the affected areas after washing. A thin film of gel should be applied avoiding eyes lips and mucous membranes. If the patient suffers from skin irritation due to the application of the gel the dosage can be reduced to once a day or once on alternate days. During the early weeks of medication worsening acne can be seen. This can be due to unseen and untreated outcome of the infections. Do not discontinue the medication. 	Side Effects

	Storage
	Clindapene [Clindamycin and Adapalene] gel should be stored at a temperature between 20°-25°C 68°-77°F excursions permitted between 15°-30°C 59°-86°F. Do not freeze.


	Precaution
	If sensitivity or chemical irritations occur the application of Clindapene [Clindamycin and Adapalene] gel should be stopped. Exposure to sunlight or sunlamps should be minimized during the therapy. Avoid contact with eyes lips angles of the nose and mucous membranes.
